"I think he is going to be a big star" – SIR ELTON JOHN
Hailing from Sunderland, Tom A Smith is an exciting, young artist crafting infectious, unique and emotive songs. Already gaining praise from the likes of Sir Elton John, Miles Kane, NME, Radio X, BBC 6Music and BBC RADIO 1, Tom is most definitely an artist on the rise. In this episode we chat about his early music memories, his band and how they met, writing around 200 songs during Lockdown, his songwriting process and the North East music scene. 
Tom has a busy Summer festival season including performances at Glastonbury Festival, recent TV appearances on Sunday Brunch and Blue Peter and his own huge solo tour in November/December. Tom was selected by Elton John to join him on the bill at Hyde Park and he has recently performed at BBC Radio 1's One Big Weekend in Dundee.

Pete is the Presenter for our Primary Live event at Music For Youth National Festival in Birmingham in July. In this episode, Matt is joined by Adam Nutter who is the Lead Guitarist of The Music, who are a popular Alternative Rock band from Leeds. They've had two albums in the Top 10 UK album charts and played to sold out audiences across the world.
In the episode they chat about his early musical influences, how the band got together, the changes in the Music Industry and their triumphant homecoming gig earlier this year in June to over 10,000 people at Temple Newsam in Leeds.
